John Amabile at Dublin House in Red Bank, NJ
We are pleased to announce that Life Guard Ecumenical Foundation raised over $5,500 for the "From Fear to Hope" campaign. The campaign got a huge boost by our very own John Amabile, who organized and performed a charity benefit concert at Dublin House on June 6, 2018. These funds will go a long way in helping improve the living situation of a local, 26-year-old woman who suffers from a debilitating spinal condition. If you weren't able to make it to the benefit concert, please read her story... More

Thanks to our gracious donors, our online Team Andres fundraiser was a success.   LGEF was able to generate over $5,400 in online donations for the family of Jennifer Andres, our friend and neighbor who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Combined with our matching donation of $2,000, the total amount raised for the Andres family was more than $7,400. Thanks again to all who contributed to help Jennifer and her family in their cancer battle.

If Superstorm Sandy has taught us one thing, it’s that the people in the Two River community of Monmouth County help each other out in times of need.  That’s just what Max Berry, owner of Pride Fishing Tackle, did during the busy holiday season when he put together a weekend of fundraising for Sandy relief at his shop in Red Bank. In addition to securing boat captains as guests to answer any fishing questions for customers, Max organized an impressive raffle with something for... More
