Town-wide "Foodraiser" for Lunch Break

On April 27, 2012, Life Guard Ecumenical Foundation (LGEF) hosted a town-wide “foodraiser” for Lunch Break - www.lunchbreak.org - at the Knights of Columbus in Fair Haven, NJ.  Guests were asked to contribute a bag of groceries or a grocery store gift card and in return enjoyed a night out on LGEF! 

Live entertainment, a catered dinner, and fun activities and prizes for the kids proved this night to be a successful, family fun way to help Lunch Break stock its pantry for the summer months when donations typically decline.  In the end, our generous community was able to fill Lunch Break’s van to capacity with nonperishable food items.
